We are a group of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners that are advanced practice registered nurses who are trained to provide care to patients struggling with mental health problems. These nurses are different from RNs in that we have the specialized education and experience to tend to the mental health needs of patients of all ages; however, our focus are adults ages 18-64. We are qualified to diagnose patients with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or eating disorders, prescribe treatment as well as medication and provide supportive therapy. Born and raised in Auburn, Alabama (War Eagle!), Ashley earned a degree in International Relations from Florida State University and then obtained a Master’s in Health Administration from University of Phoenix. After a few years working in the health insurance industry, she felt called to pursue a degree in nursing. Returning to school, she completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Southern Union State Community College and soon after, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Columbus State University. A few years later, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and became a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Julie Rogers Yankowsky
(She/Her/Hers) PMHNP-BC

Licensed in: NY and VT

Julie earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in mental health for several years. She is ANCC board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse. She has worked with all ages in community outpatient, hospital inpatient, skilled nursing, and post-acute care settings as well as college students at campus counseling centers. Her clinical interests include anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, sleep disorders, and wellness. Her approach is integrative utilizing cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, humanistic, psychopharmacology, and holistic based methods.
